A lot of people forget that what inspired Dr. King… it wasn’t social policy… it wasn’t politics… it was his faith. He was a pastor.
Pretty much most of the civil rights movement, the leadership of it, came out of the church… I think that similarly with a lot of other issues socially that need reconciliation, I think it’s going to come when the church once again kind of rediscovers her role and the need for her to be on the front line of helping bring both sides together.
