The Versions of the Bible We Definitely Don’t Need

It’s wonderful to have translations and versions of the Bible that make it easier for everyone to understand. But some versions may be unnecessary…like this one from author Sara K. Runnels, who wrote a “Millennial” version of Genesis 1:

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. #CreationGoals #EarthIsBae

Now the earth was formless and basic, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was lowkey hovering over the waters.

After reading the Millennial Translation, we felt inspired to come up with a few more unnecessary versions of select passages. Click on each image to read our new editions along with the original versions!

What other versions do you think should be added to the list?

I’m a bit confused, i thought it was a sin to add or take away anything from the Bible

But they’re not really preaching it… It’s just fun to laugh at these hilarious “translations” in my opinion!

The HR Bible really made my day, as did the family friendly Bible. My own daughter, 8, decided she wanted to read through Judges…certainly not PG!
