For many of us, summer means a break from school and heading to the beach, but at WAY-FM summer is a time of outreach and what better way to give back than with a free concert?
This year, we’re helping out the The Care Center. The Care Center provides a myraid of services like providing services that include a Family Food Pantry, GED Program and Elementary & High Schools needs. The CARE Center serves three southeastern Madison County Elementary Schools: Madison County(Gurley); New Hope and Owens Cross Roads Elementary Schools as well as Madison County and New Hope High Schools. The IGNITE Program serves Adult Education through GED classes and other College and Trade Schools applications, training and career paths. Our Family Food Pantry reaches out to all members in our service area including Brownsboro, Gurley, New Hope and Owens Cross Roads by providing a 3-day crisis supply of food to our neighbors.
It’s not easy providing these services to southeatern Madison County which is why we need to help The Care Center collect a few supplies. So we got a little help from WAY-FM Artist Austin French to put on a free concert for you! At the show we will be collecting these needs for The Care Center:
