3 Easy Steps to Give Christmas Away This Year

Hey! We love that you're interested in this, but just a heads up, it's for North Florida.

Matthew West’s song “Give This Christmas Away” perfectly demonstrates the true meaning behind Christmas. It’s all about giving. God gave His only Son to be born unto us. It’s the ultimate gift – no one can top that…BUT we can do our best to share this gift with others and we have just thing! This year we’ve partnered with the Salvation Armies of North Florida and South Georgia for their Angel Tree program. In 3 easy steps you can give Christmas away to a child right here in our community who normally wouldn’t get presents.

1. Find An Angel

This is the EASY part! Just CLICK HERE to find your nearest Angel Tree location! You’ll find them at malls and other local businesses. Look over the tree and find the child you’d like to shop for! Boys and girls of all ages are represented on each tree – as a matter of fact all of the Salvation Armies have received record numbers of children who are going without Christmas this year so you’re sure to find the child for you.

Don’t live near any of these locations? Don’t feel like braving the crowds at the mall? Don’t worry! You can also CLICK HERE to request a child’s information to be sent to you from the comfort of your home computer!

2. SHOPPING

Now THIS is the easy part…too. Shopping!!! You’ll find some key items your child would like for Christmas on their tag. But feel free to add whatever you want to their bag! Go crazy! Clothes, toys, books – it’s all up to you! Get your kids involved! Ask them what they would like to see their Angel get. Each family member can pick out a present – the possibilities are endless! You can even add a Bible for your Angel!

3. Drop Off

Hmm this is easy part too…guess the whole process is easy!! Now you just need to drop off your toys at your local Salvation Army. And the best part is…NO need for wrapping!!! You drop off your gifts and the volunteers at the Salvation Army and their families do the hard part! No paper cuts, no tape sticking to your shoes, and no forgetting what you wrapped! It’s Christmas made easy!

Once you’ve finished those 3 EASY steps now all you have to do is pray! Pray for your Angel, pray for their families, and pray they might experience the same gift we all got that Christmas so many years ago.

What are you waiting for!? CLICK HERE to find the nearest Angel Tree or request an Angel online today!
