Do You Believe? ~ In Theaters March 20

DYB_TheCross2

Do You Believe? tells the story of diverse lives that intersect on the streets of Chicago – rich lives, poor lives, and desperate lives. A dozen different souls—all moving in different directions, all longing for something more. As their lives unexpectedly intersect, they each discover the power in the Cross of Christ … even if they don’t believe in it. When a local pastor is shaken to the core by the visible faith of an old street-corner preacher, he is reminded that authentic belief always requires action. His response ignites a faith-fueled journey that powerfully impacts everyone and touches their lives in ways that only God could orchestrate. More than a movie, it is the question we all must answer (and confront) in our lives: DO YOU BELIEVE?

Old Fashioned ~ In Theaters Valentine’s Day 2015

Chivalry Makes A Comeback

wmns_old_fashioned_artA romantic-drama, OLD FASHIONED centers on Clay Walsh, a former frat boy who gives up his carousing and now runs an antique shop in a small Midwestern college town. There, he has become notorious for his lofty and outdated theories on love and romance. When Amber Hewson, a free-spirited young woman with a restless soul, drifts into the area and rents the apartment above his shop, she finds herself surprisingly drawn to his noble ideas, which are new and intriguing to her. And Clay, though he tries to fight and deny it, simply cannot resist being attracted to her spontaneous and passionate embrace of life. Ultimately, Clay must step out from behind his relational theories, and Amber must overcome her own fears and deep wounds, as the two of them, together, attempt the impossible: an “old-fashioned” courtship in contemporary America.

In Plain Sight

wmns_in_plain_sight_cover Most Americans are completely oblivious to the fact that thousands of women and children are enslaved within their own communities. This isn’t limited to Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and New York. We’re talking about cities across America – from Sacramento to Little Rock to Baltimore – where the unthinkable is happening “in plain sight.” Journeying to six US cities, we open the viewer’s eyes to what’s happening down the street “in plain sight”. Through engaging interviews with numerous victims of sex trafficking, the force, coercion, and deception of the children and women becomes apparent. In the midst of the darkness, stories of hope and freedom emerge as each survivor shares how she was impacted through the work of a sex trafficking aftercare home.

What’s Unique About This Documentary?

The film has been produced for the widest possible audience – accessible to people of all faiths or no faith at all.

The film is not sexualized for shock value.

While we educate the viewer, our focus is on HOPE and the powerful steps that six ordinary women have taken to bring HEALING to the lives of survivors.

In honor of National Human Trafficking Prevention Month in January 2015, we want to empower you to share the stories of hope and freedom that are emerging from the darkness of sex trafficking. Click here to learn more.

A talented young singer and aspiring songwriter’s Christian faith and family ties are tested when she defies her worship-pastor father and pursues pop-music stardom in GRACE UNPLUGGED, a moving and inspiring new film that explores the true meaning of success.

Grace Trey has just turned 18 and aspires to do more than sing in her church’s worship band, which is led by her father, Johnny Trey. Grace longs to escape his shadow and make a name for herself singing songs about something other than God.

When Johnny’s former manager, Frank “Mossy” Mostin, shows up 20 years after the two parted ways to offer him another shot at the big time, Johnny declines the opportunity. But Grace takes it.  With each rung of the ladder she climbs, Grace feels pressure to compromise her Christian values and learns not everyone who says they’re on her side really is.  Will everything she experiences lead her to reject her faith … or rediscover it?
