When Is the Last Time You Thought About Heaven?

How much do you think about Heaven? A lot? A little? Not at all? Whether your earthly life is close to it’s end or you have many decades still in front of you, I hope your thoughts turn often to Heaven because that eternal perspective lifts the weariness we all face. One of my dear friends who thought well and often of Heaven was named Melina. Melina was a dark-haired, dark-eyed beauty (think, full-blooded Italian… … Continue reading

Hear How a Tragic Miscarriage Inspired Citizen Way’s New Song

Ben said everything changed for him when his 8 year old daughter Ava said, ” You know why they can’t find the baby’s heartbeat? Because they already gave it to Jesus.” “When I’m With You” is the new song from Citizen Way inspired by a heartbreaking miscarriage that the lead singer Ben Calhoun’s family experienced. Hearing Ben share about how God was faithful even during the hardest season of their life, makes the lyrics to his… … Continue reading

One of Our Littlest Listeners is in Heaven Today

Something Brant wrote in honor of a loyal listener: One of our littlest listeners died this morning – Easter morning. Her name is Victoria, or “Tori”, for short. She loved her giraffe. She had wonderful parents. Brennan and Lesa knew they would not have her long. So they made a “bucket list” for her, which included meeting us. This just happens to be the single biggest honor we’ve ever received. She had Krabbe Leukodystrophy, and… … Continue reading

In FL the only ones that can sue for malpractice are spouses and dependent children. My daughter had neither so the doctor got away with it. My daughter was handicapped since birth and my best friend. I’m trying my best to keep functioning, but it’s not working. I miss a lot of work days,… … Continue reading

Thoughts on the Passing of Fred Phelps

Okay, I’ve had a chance to sit and think about the passing of Fred Phelps. Here we go: Fred Phelps has died. And for the briefest of moments, I felt led to repent of my very first thoughts: “Who is going to picket HIS funeral? How much payback will these hatemongers get?” But then I read the following post on FB(also seen in the previous post on my timeline): “If I had the money, I… … Continue reading

E-MESS: Does God Really Care About People?

TO Wally(if you get this email) Does God really care about people? does he care about when people go to hell or to the abysses? he does kill people(Noah’s ark) Those are really big questions. I think God does love and care about people, but He also has a sense of right, wrong and rules. Just like when your parents would punish you, it didn’t mean they didn’t love you. We have rules in our… … Continue reading

E-MESS: Hate for God

Hello Wally and crew I am writing you because I’m full of hate for God. I recently gave birth to my daughter. She was still born at 2lb. This is the hardest thing I’ve ever gone through and it’s making my heart fill with hate. I don’t want to lose my faith but day by day I feel it slipping away as i drift darker and darker into depression. My husband and I can’t hardly… … Continue reading
