Live Service Out and Keep Kids Safe!

Summer is finally here and that means the kids are free from school and looking to get into trouble fun! While summer is all about fun it’s also about staying safe! Between bug bites, bumps and bruises from bike falls, and staying safe in the pool or beach it can be tough to keep our kids safe! That’s why the Capital Area Red Cross is holding a Summer Fun Kid’s Day on June 20th! They’ll… … Continue reading

Take your family on a STAYcation this summer!

How about a STAYcation? A staycation is an economical alternative to a conventional vacation. Instead of jetting down to Disneyworld or some exotic locale, a staycation might consist of barbecuing around the backyard pool, visiting a nearby museum, or a relaxing day trip to a golf park listed at golf holidays direct. Shoe Drive

Good Connections

WAY-FM is passionate about seeing God’s people at work in Southwest Florida. So many amazing ministries, large and small, are working tirelessly to be the hands and feet of Christ in our community. Together we’re getting things DONE! But, sometimes, important things are getting overlooked, or just not getting talked about enough. What can we do together to make our community, local or worldwide, better?   … Continue reading

Hope for Haiti Day 1: Looks can be deceiving

It has been two years since I was last in Haiti, and three since the devastating earthquake that decimated their country. Haiti has begun rebuilding and they are working hard to just get back to extreme poverty.     This time the airport was so different. They had a small, but nice, new terminal. A great improvement from the temporary metal hanger from last trip. It appeared as if everything was going to be… … Continue reading
