Why We ALL Need to See Colton Dixon’s New Video “Through All of It”

We have all had moments when we question where God is in our hurt. We may feel that he has abandoned us and forgotten about us. Two years ago when I had to pick up and move for this job, I entered one of the hardest times in my life. The people who were closest to me abandoned me and everything that was familiar started to slip away. I doubted God so many times in the midst of the heartache, but He never left me.

When the smoke clears in our lives, we blink back our tears and see that God is more faithful to us than we could ever imagine. Even when our hearts deceive us and tell us that we are alone in our struggle, God is still there. His love and faithfulness are constants in the raging sea of life.

They say hindsight is 20/20 and when I look back at my past, I can see what God was doing. I see that God had a plan and a purpose that I could not know or understand in the moment. I now see that he weathered every moment of pain and caught every tear during that year when I was just lost. As frail and fickle as I am, God loves me and he promises to be with me through all of it.

Deuteronomy 31:8

“It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.”
