Check Out Joy’s Summer Must Have Items!

Joy here and life is hard so you’ve got to find the things that bring you joy! These are a few of the things I’ve found for this summer that I LOVE and I simply had to share them with you! Comment below and share your must have items from this summer too.

Sunscreen

You know you should wear sunscreen, but it’s often too thick or smells like coconut so it’s easy to skip in your makeup routine. That’s why I freaked out when I discovered Elta MD with zinc. As someone with a skin disorder, it’s crucial for me to wear a powerful sunscreen daily and my dermatologist recommended this product. Elta MD is one of the most protective sunscreens on the market but is also thin and comes tinted so it’s easy to wear in my daily makeup routine.

BBQ Chicken Nachos

Summer deserves the perfect summer snack and this one could easily transition to football season in the fall too! A friend had me over for a dinner party and served BBQ nachos. They were so stinking good! Memphis BBQ Chicken Nachos are baked in the oven and truly easy! The recipe is a crowd pleaser and I even went back for seconds. You will love them.

Zero Water Filter

One thing is crucial for you in the summer- H2O! You’ve got to stay hydrated, but you want water that actually tastes good. The water from my filter pitcher was still tasting like metal and I was so frustrated. The Zero Water Filter comes with a tester stick that shows it’s cleaning powers! I tested the water after it came out of my old pitcher and it still had 80 chemicals in it. After the Zero Water Filter it had 0 chemicals left! It is not only crazy good at filtering water but also makes it taste like it came straight from a glacier.

Hyaluronic Acid

Dry skin is never in season but I cannot seem to get rid of mine. Someone recommended Hyaluronic Acid which sounds dangerous and a little scary, but it has made my skin SO SOFT! It’s the the first thing I have found to truly help my skin be baby smooth!

“I Give Up” by Laura Story

We want to control things in life but life always reminds us we cannot. Laura Story’s new book is all about surrendering the things we cannot control to God. As someone with anxiety, I struggle to surrender so much of my life to God. This book has been inspiring and helpful to me and hopefully to you too!
