Here’s What You Can Do NOW to Support Victims of Hurricane Harvey

You see the video footage, another picture. Houston, Corpus Christi, and other areas of Texas are being inundated with rain and severe flooding.

We believe in the power of prayer and will continue to show support in this way, but are there tangible ways to help, too?

Yes! Here are two ministries that do an incredible job at catastrophe response. We’ve seen their work firsthand and would highly encourage you to come alongside them if you’re feeling compelled to give toward Hurricane Harvey disaster relief!

Samaritan’s Purse:

Samaritan’s Purse will be one of the first ministries on the scene – and probably the last to leave. They are already driving boats up and down the flooded streets this week. They’re assessing the situation and organizing a plan to take action. They’ll enlist volunteers from around the country. People use their vacation to volunteer with Samaritan’s Purse and help with clean-up. You might want to consider signing up to volunteer or you might want to give.

Convoy of Hope.

They already have semi trucks on the road, filled with groceries and needed supplies for Texas families. They have been doing incredible disaster response for the past 20+ years. They bring hope in every storm.

By supporting both of these ministries, you are making a difference for those affected by Hurricane Harvey right now. Thank you for continuing to pray and be supportive!
