Sidewalk Prophets has been singing, writing, touring the country, and you’ve probably heard them on WAY-FM recently. There’s lots of reasons to give a shout-out to these quality guys, so we thought we’d compile a little list. Here’s 5 reasons to love Sidewalk Prophets.
1. They do their best to find humor in frustrating situations.
In a series of tweets about trying to get to Canada for a show, the band tweeted this out:
Welp-plane from NYC to Toronto has been on runway 1 hour. Still not moving… gonna have to implement row your boat in rounds to stay sane.

2. They turn children’s books into Opera.
This is just plain gutsy. The video speaks for itself.
3. They’re fan support is insane.
Some fans in Sarasota made them this cake frosted with the name of their hit song, “Live Like That.” If that’s not support, we don’t know what is!
4. They keep things in perspective.
“My favorite part of doing shows is the chance to say, ‘What’s going on in your life?’ Then there are the smaller shows, and even some of the living room concerts we’re doing as premiums for some of those who contributed to the bus campaign. These are people who become friends and almost family members. I don’t ever want to lose that.”

5. They’re creative.
Thier music video to the song “Keep Making Me,” is different than most videos you’ll see these days. It tells a story in a creative way.
