How Do We Respond to All This Violence? These Artists Point to Hope.

So much violence happened in the past week. What do we do now? You’re not the only one looking for answers and trying to find the hope in situations that happened in Louisiana, Minnesota, and, now, Dallas.

We don’t have all the answers, but the way some of our WAY-FM artists are responding can help get our minds in the right place and let us know we’re not alone.

As a son of a retired and respected police officer, who served and protected sacrificially for many years, my heart goes out to those officers in Dallas who were gunned down last night. They were there to secure a peaceful protest, to watch over many concerned Americans. Just as a vast majority of police are good, so are people. My spirit isn’t broken by the violence because there is so much good in our world, but my heart’s hurting. I’m mourning with you, Texas, and Louisiana, and Minnesota.
