“Fix My Eyes is now an anchor for the band; a mantra.”
– Joel Smallbone from for King & Country

What do you want your life to be all about? Seriously, have you ever thought through the specifics to your answer? The guys in for King & Country have and they turned it into a song.

Joel and Luke Smallbone wrote the song “Fix My Eyes” in the middle of a crazy point in their lives. They asked each other what they stood for and where their focus should be in the midst of the non-stop motion of life. The band ended up with a chorus that Joel says sums up what for King & Country, and really, living a life for Christ, is all about:

“And love like I’m not scared/ Give when it’s not fair
Live life for another/ Take time for a brother
Fight for the weak ones/ Speak out for freedom
Find faith in the battle/ Stand tall but above it all
Fix my eyes on you”
Fix My Eyes

The band explains the full story behind the song, “Fix My Eyes,” in this video!
