Carrie Underwood surprised thousands of students at the Passion 2017 Conference in Atlanta! She joined Crowder onstage during his set, first adding some soulful backup on his original song, “Lift Your Head Weary Sinner.” (Carrie shows up at about the 3:00 mark.)
Crowder and the band returned the favor and accompanied Carrie on her song “Something in the Water.” The lyrics capture the joy of finding Christ’s love and mercy for the first time.
It’s incredible to see the worlds of mainstream Country and Christian Contemporary music collide to praise God and encourage thousands! Carrie said there was “so much energy in the room” and the people at Passion are “changing the world.”
I say, we need more moments like this one.
