Somewhere along the line, the band, Needtobreathe, had talked themselves into thinking “being competitive with each other was a good thing.” It took a really tough circumstance to finally make them realize – they needed each other. The band says they came out on the other side of the dark times stronger than ever and close in only a way brothers can be.
Out of that lesson came the song, “Brother.”
Being there for each other – encouraging, loving, laughing, crying – it’s so important. Sometimes we take people for granted or aren’t willing to take s risk and be open with each other.
Remember it’s worth it. Remember people matter. Remember we need each other.
