I wish I had paid more attention in Spanish class because tomorrow is the big day for us as we get to meet our newest sponsored child, Maria.

She might be little, but she definitely has Sass-A-Tude. We can’t wait to give her the things we bought just for her, but even more than that we are excited about the opportunity to tell her that she is loved and cared for by God and she is now part of our lives.

She lives in a tough place where poverty claims the dreams and futures of far too many kids. It is so humbling to think that for such a little amount of money we can make a huge difference and give her a bright future where yesterday there wasn’t much of one.
