I am standing in the middle of a dump in the capital city of Niamey in Niger, Africa.

What makes this dump special is that a section of it has be reclaimed by CURE International and turned into a children’s hospital.

In a place where people threw away the things they didn’t want, CURE is bringing new life to children, particularly children who could easily be cast off and thrown away because of their correctible disabilities.

Al Hassan was one of those kids. He had a giant tumor on his lip. When hospital workers asked his mom what people think about her son, her answer was sobering:

I keep him hidden inside for his own safety. Some people say I should kill him, but only God should give and take life.

If it weren’t for the strength of this mother and the work that CURE does, Al Hassan could have easily been like everything here around me: broken, cast off and forgotten.

With your help, CURE not only changes lives but saves lives, and they do it all in the name of Jesus.

Here is how you can help make a difference with CURE!

Help Heal a Child!
