For One Project: Lasting Impressions

They say you never get a second chance to make a first impression. In Indonesian culture relationships are very important and one fun thing they do with large groups is introduce themselves, but the catch is everyone has to do a different motion with their greeting.  So we tried our hand at it…Literally.

The day started out eating something I thought was familiar, until I read the package more carefully.

Every place we visited treated us with such honor.  We were even given official Indonesian attire to model.  I hate to brag but we rocked it!

Today was such a great day and it is a little sad as we prepare to leave in a couple hours.  We met some amazing kids on this trip who I can't wait to tell you about when we get home, like little Gita.

There were so many kids here who have lost there sponsors it was heartbreaking.  Some of them think it was something they did when nothing can be further from the truth.  I can't wait to get home and see how many of these kids we can get matched up with new sponsors that will love them for the long haul.  You don't even have to wait till we get home.  You can start telling these kids they matter today, just click here

Only 5 plane rides and 35+ hours of traveling to get home.  See you soon
