First Responder Friday – Birmingham

Hey! We love that you're interested in this, but just a heads up, it's for Birmingham.

First Responder Friday! The third Friday of each Month, WayFM and Mark Achuff of Birmingham Mortgage Group will celebrate, honor, and most importantly say Thank You to Birmingham Area First Responders.

Our police officers, EMT’s and fire fighters are the First Responders that make a difference in the lives of our friends, families, co-workers, and those in our neighborhoods every day.

We want to thank them for the difficult job they do and for putting their lives on the line to protect and enhance our cities and way of life.

Enter their name, profession & photo and if chosen that week we will present them with an award, 2 free movie passes per winner to Birmingham Premiere LUX Cine & Pizza Pub on Lakeshore Drive and a shout out on the air and recognition on our WayFM website!

Birmingham area Police, Firefighters, EMTs- THANK YOU for keeping us safe.

Once you have made a nomination, no need to re-nominate.

The entries will carry over to the next month.

Congratulations from WayFM and sponsor Mark Acuff with Birmingham Mortgage Group, to August’s First Responder Friday winner, Chase of Vestavia Hills Police Department. He was nominated by his mother-in-law who said, “Chase always aspired to go into law enforcement while at the University of Alabama to follow his uncle’s profession. After graduating college, he spent the past 3 plus years commuting back & forth to Northport, AL to go through the academy & serve on their force.
