When you think about Christmas presents for kids of course you think about toys! Maybe your kids have a room full of toys they never play with…but for some children in our community that’s not the case.
You already know about The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program where you can adopt a child for Christmas and give them the presents they normally never see.
Well we want to take it a step further! Toys are covered by the Salvation Army but one of the biggest needs of children in poverty is books. Just like toys maybe your kids have a bookshelf overflowing with books they don’t read anymore. Let us help with some Christmas cleaning! We’ll be collecting new or gently used books to include in every child’s Angel Tree presents! Here’s where you can find the WAY-FM Road Show next:
