Sometimes you have to get out of your comfort zone!

Joy here, and tonight I’m going to a new small group for the first time. I can’t even tell you how nervous I am! Small groups are important and I am so ready to be in one that will give great community and help me grow in my faith. However, most small groups are in people’s homes and going to a strangers house is just nerve racking. I got invited to this small group by a girl I don’t really know, so I will be walking into an intimate setting that is WAY out of my comfort zone.

I’m going to make myself do something that will be uncomfortable because I know that it will be worth it. I am trying to do this more and more.
Do I like being in my comfort zone? OF COURSE.
However, I’ve been learning lately that growth doesn’t happen in our comfort zone. If we want to grow, we have to be uncomfortable for a time. I am trying to exercise this as I attend small group tonight. Sometimes forcing yourself to grow is forcing yourself out of your comfort zone!
