“We need to teach our kids to be kind not critical” 
I came across this video from last year and couldn’t help but watch it all over again! WKBT anchor Jennifer Livingston addressed bullying and how the internet makes it all to easy to anonymously criticize others. I think we’ve all received criticism online to some extent, whether it’s a facebook post or a tweet you didn’t appreciate. How incredible that Jennifer lays a smack down on a listener who called her “obese” and a “bad example for young girls.” We all already know our shortcomings, we don’t need people to point them out! Such a good reminder to be careful with what we write on social media! Behind every public figure and facebook profile is a real person with real feelings.  As Jennifer says, “we are better than this!”
