Brant’s View on One-Way Conversation with God

Prayer can be a really tough thing.

Just being honest.

It’s a challenge for a lot of us, when we don’t ‘feel’ like God is hearing us.

It’s like I’m talking on one walkie-talkie and… there is no other walkie-talkie.

That’s how I feel a lot of the time. But I still pray.

Why?

It’s this thing called faith.

I believe that even if I don’t have the “feelings”, God still listens to me.

He still wants to hear from me.

And even if I’m not feeling it, I can still do it, and God honors that faith. I know He does.

Prayer is very comforting to me. I’m sure he listens bc I often get answers to my prayers when he gives me the blessings I pray for. . I also love how prayer changes me. I gain patience and comfort. I feel useful praying for others and it takes away worries and calms me.

I also wanted to tell you that you are very funny on the air and when your co- dj, ( I can’t remember her name) laughs it is so contagious! She has the best hearty laugh ever!
