Anytime the word “change” gets thrown around, I get an uneasy feeling in the pit of my stomach. That’s especially true in 2020 as it feels like this year has been nothing but change.
But today, change is a good thing. Today is my last day on The Wally Show.
But I’m not going very far….
Tomorrow will be the start of a new adventure on WayFM as I’ll be hosting my very own show that you can hear every day after The Wally Show and before CJ & Joy.
The past 7 years on The Wally Show have been the most transformative of my life. In my career, I got to have Wally as a friend and mentor, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the ways he’s taught me and cared for me. In my personal life, I saw a lot of hard times as my husband Joey spent much of that time in and out of the hospital with a chronic illness. As I wrestled through all of it, I gained a new understanding of God’s goodness and peace.
And it’s been a true honor to get to share so much of these journeys with you and learn your stories as well.
While my job description is changing, that honor isn’t. I’m beyond thrilled to get to continue spending time with you in the middle of your storms, in the middle of your celebrations, in the middle of the mundane, and in the middle of the day.
