Secret Keeper Girl’s Fashion Do’s and Don’ts

Hey! We love that you're interested in this, but just a heads up, it's for The Gulf Coast.

At the Secret Keeper Girl Crazy Hair Tour coming to Hiland Park Baptist Church in Panama City on August 29th we’ll take a fun look at how you can dress modestly and still look great! And one of the biggest things we can teach our daughters is to learn from our mistakes. And let’s admit it…over the years…we’ve made a lot of mistakes when it comes to fashion…but it hasn’t all been bad…honestly

1950’s

The 50’s were a simpler time…how we long for the decadence and simple beauty of someone like Audrey Hepburn. And on the casual side it was all about comfort! Got a pair of flats in the closet…everyone did in the 50’s!

1960’s

Were you a flower child? Or maybe you wished you were Jackie O…

1970’s

Time for the bell bottoms! Were you a part of the Mod Squad? And the hair…oh the hair…bring on the beehives and the bangs!

1980’s

You knew we’d get here eventually…where to begin? The fashion…or the hair!? They may have an 80’s day at school for fun but we lived it!! Oh shoulder pads…

1990’s

Between grunge (so much flannel), hip hop (hats, hats, hats) and valley girl (blinding bright colors) there was no shortage of options in the 90’s…where did we get all that denim!?

Today:

Well we just have to look in our closets to see the new decade of mistakes we’ve made in fashion. talk about mistakes just look in a teenager’s closet…wait no don’t…

This is just scratching the surface. We’re going to be looking at more fashion do’s and don’ts at the Secret Keeper Girl Crazy Hair Tour August 29th at Hiland Park Baptist Church in Panama City. Join together with us as we try and protect the next generation form making the same mistakes we made…together we can make a difference
