This past weekend families from all over Southwest Florida came together and Lived (Service) Out! It was amazing to see so many people give up their weekend so they could build houses with Habitat for Humanity in Lee and Collier County, and pack shoeboxes at Grace Community Center. Because of these volunteers, Live (Service) Out was a success. However, just because the Live (Service) Out weekend has ended, doesn’t mean Live (Service) Out is over. There are always opportunities for us to Live (Service) Out every day of our lives. Live (Service) Out can mean so much more than volunteering for a local organization. Sometimes, it can mean making dinner for a sick friend, or mowing your neighbor’s lawn after you mowed yours.
We want to know what Live (Service) Out means to YOU! As you continue to serve this summer share your Live (Service) Out experiences with us on Facebook and don’t forget to use the hashtag #LiveServiceOut.
