Bent But Not Broken

It is hard to imagine that in some countries, children living with correctable disabilities are often seen as outcasts or even as cursed.  Parents are told these kids should be hidden away, or worse yet, discarded.  I had the pleasure of meeting Julius, one of these “cursed” kids, at a CURE hospital in Kenya.

Julius is such a blessing and an inspiration that it is hard to believe anyone could ever see him as a curse. This is Julius’s journey.

This is just one example of how CURE is working to change the lives of kids like Julius. The cool thing is, you don’t have to have hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical school debt to help change the life of a child forever. Together with CURE, you can help kids go from rejected, to accepted….and from broken, to chosen today!

You can make a difference in the life of a child like Julius who is waiting for a life changing surgery in a CURE hospital! By becoming a Hero, you’re helping to heal a different child with a correctible disability every single month:

Become a Hero!
