Sometimes, it’s hard to imagine a world where things will be better, and often times, there’s very little we can do about it.

But with CURE International, you can help turn a child’s “before,” where they’re often seen as an outcast or cursed…into an “after.” Last year, we had the pleasure of meeting Julius at a CURE hospital in Kenya. Here is his “before” picture:

Julius was such a blessing and an inspiration to us that it’s hard to believe anyone could ever see him as a curse, but sadly, that was his reality. We got to be a small part of Julius’s journey as he had his surgery.

After a few months of healing and rehabilitation, Julius came back to the CURE hospital to get his external fixator off.

He’s now able to live a normal life and continue in his dreams of becoming a neurosurgeon! His “after” is drastically different from his “before” because CURE International intervened.
