Doubt comes when we least expect it and sometimes we barely realize it. We start to interpret promises of God in a way that makes sense to us. Just like the serpent asked Eve in the Garden of Eden, we start to subtly ask, “Did God really say that?” (Genesis 3:1) When we see the chaos around us, we feel overwhelmed and just shrink back, hoping God will show up.
