I actually made this! I know you are probably wondering what “this” even is. It may not look all that appetizing but my co-workers raved about it! They are called “Cookies and Cream Rice Crispy Treats!”

The recipe was so easy that even I was able to make them without ruining them. I just had to share it with you!

You will need:

  • 6 cups Rice Krispy Cereal
  • 25 Regular Oreos, chopped to your liking
  • 1 (10oz) bag of mini marshmallows
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • white chocolate for drizzle
  • Cooking spray to coat baking dish with

Directions:

Spray 9×13 baking dish with cooking spray and set aside.

In a large bowl, combine the cereal with your chopped Oreos and mix well. Keep in mind that you can totally play with the cookies in this recipe. Make them small crumb pieces or leave them as large chunks. I used both when I made them.

In a medium saucepan, melt butter and stir in mini marshmallows. Stirring constantly, heat until they are combined and all gooey.
Add melty goodness to the cereal/cookie mix and using a spatula coated with non-stick spray, mix well.

Pour the delicious mess into the baking dish and flatten it to even out. (If you want to keep your hands clean and not sticky, try using a piece of  parchment paper on top of the dish to flatten it out with)

Cool completely….and somehow prevent yourself from picking off little tiny pieces of yumminess while it does so.

When cooled completely, melt white chocolate in a double broiler and drizzle over the top of your treats. (If you want to use the microwave do a 30 seconds on, stir, 30 seconds stir, type of rhythm until melted)

Cut into bars and enjoy!
